Action.
"The Soviets knows only one word - action, respects only one method - force."
Well, I can't say that I'm like the Soviets (despite my somehow 'promiscuous' political leanings.)But I can only say this: For all that has been said, I respect only action. I judge a person by his actions, not just some 'bragging' or empty rhetoric.
Action is the key.
A man is judged by what he says and what he does. If a man's word does not match his actions, then you must be careful.
Like the parable of the two sons, one said yes to the father's request to work, but did not work in the end versus the apparently disobedient son who in the end helped the father despite his initial reluctance, we are all judge by our actions.
True, heart's motives are important too. But what a man says, but does not do, he is a liar and dishonours himself and loses credibility amongst his peers.
What do people say about you?
Does your action match your cognitive patterns?
Are you respected and honoured among your peers and those around you?
What kind of influence are you?
True courage is recognizing that there's something wrong, and your actions thereafter all leads to righting that wrong. Do not confuse prayerful waiting to cowardice denial.
Oh and I'm not gonna fake by displaying 'optimistic piety' - I am in lament now. I have been hurt, been accused, been wronged without a chance to defend myself. But hey its okie, it is God that vindicates and vengeance is His.
Contrary to what people had been told, no I have not lost faith yet, circumstances have not affected me in anyway. However it is in the actions of men that I am most disappointed in and the most insensitive, irresponsible words people can say which irks me. Wow, took me some time, but now I finally understand why we should be 'innocent as doves but cunning as serpents'.
No, I will not go quietly into the night.
