2007

Yes, first post of the year.

Went to Shian's place today to kick some terrorist butt in "Black" and some weird Squirrel killing game. Anyway I talked to his mom for awhile, and we came to an interesting conclusion…

It's New Year Day, forgot about it because it feels just like any other day.

Heh.

I guess what Sophia mentioned at the dinner table was very true, that the only change that 2007 brings for now is the way we write our dates. No more '06...

...now it's '07

(which means for the best part of the month of Jan I would be doing lots of cancellations due to all the errors in my dates)

2006 had been good. Survived MRF life in the army and survived all the nonsense and all the standbys without a scratch, being shown favour with both officers and force sergeants. Getting a pretty good temp job and seeing me thru the period when I was in need of moolah. But above all, thank God for His patience and bountiful blessings in both great and small ways.

Thank God for friends too.

Nothing spectacular about the passing of the year. Watched TV and saw the thousands celebrating the New Year out on the streets, counting down and shooting foam into others (Not to mention actual footages of Banglahs running around with spray cans and getting handcuffed by the police...) Watched Revenge of the Sith while playing Rome Total War. And soon as weary me was about to snooze off to dreamland, I read a book and prayed....

Prayed...

New Year, new challenges, new areas of ministry, new wars to fight, new directions, and new changes.

Same God.
