New Season

It seems I've entered another new season in life.

A good season, at least for my case.

There's a union between Kingsmen Army LG and TORCH.

And this has led me to a renewed seeking and learning to trust in God to see me thru.

Well, it's not something foreign, in John 5:19 Jesus said that He doesn't take any initiatives at all; He sees what the Father is doing, and does what the Father does. He knew that God was the starter of all things, and all Jesus had to do was follow and labour with the Father.

It sounds simple.

But to a person that can't seem to keep still, it's a whole new ball game. But I welcome such days with open arms.

Coz it's not about me. I'm just the sheep

God is the shepherd.

And to be able to lead, I must learn how to follow.

It's not about the results anymore. One thing I've learn recently is that we cannot expect our LG members to change overnight, It's seldom the case. Rather, it's more of a journey of discovery, of learning to walk the road. There will be times when we'll fall, but hey that's why God gave us brothers and sisters around us, to encourage and to support one another on in this long and difficult journey.

I had enough of trying to reach targets and hit goals that I've so often placed there myself. I had enough of trying to rush thru things, and failing to realise that I've forgotten God somewhere along the road.

I had enough of trying to do things on my own strength.

God, You take over the controls.

I'll be your co-pilot.

And I'll enjoy the view. =)
